THE GIBSON LES PAUL
It's not until 1952 where most people pickup the Gibson guitar history, when they released the Gibson Les Paul, a solid-body electric guitar inspired by Les Paul himself, a Jazz guitarist that was relatively famous on the scene. The Gibson Les Paul standard is still one of the world's most famous electric guitar designs, carrying the Les Paul legacy for generation to come.
The 59 Les Paul is still consider by many to be the holy grail of all electric guitars, and have been used on countless timeless recording by Billy Gibbons, Eric Clapton, Jimmy Page, Joe Walsh, Duane Allman, Jeff Beck, George Harrison, Paul McCartney and Kirk Hammett to name a few.
