Original box, battery and power supply inclusion have not been confirmed.

Sometimes your guitar tone doesn't need another overdrive or EQ pedal – it just needs a little more clarity and punch. The BBE Sonic Stomp brings the well-known Sonic Maximizer processing into a pedalboard-friendly stompbox, designed to help guitar and bass tones sound more defined, open and articulate.

Based on BBE's Sonic Maximizer technology, the Sonic Stomp processes the signal to improve the perceived definition of lows and highs. It can be especially useful when a rig sounds a little muddy, dull or congested, whether you're playing through a clean amp, a driven setup or a larger chain of effects.

More Clarity Without Rebuilding Your Rig

The Sonic Stomp is a tone enhancer rather than a conventional distortion, chorus or delay. Switch it on and fine-tune the processing to bring out the attack of notes, tighten the bottom end and add presence to your sound. It's a useful tool for players who like their existing tone but want it to come across with greater definition.

Two Simple Controls: Lo Contour and Process

Lo Contour shapes the low-frequency enhancement, helping give bass notes and chunky rhythm guitar more weight. Process adjusts the high-frequency processing for added clarity and articulation. Together they make it easy to tailor the effect to different instruments and amplifiers without complicated menus or presets.

A Handy Finishing Touch for Guitar or Bass

The Sonic Stomp works with electric guitar and bass, and can make particular sense near the end of an effects chain when you're trying to bring a little extra definition to your overall sound. Used subtly it can provide a finishing touch; more pronounced settings can add a distinctly polished, hi-fi edge.

Key Features & Specifications

Brand: BBE

Model: Sonic Stomp Sonic Maximizer

Effect Type: Sonic enhancement / tone processing

Technology: BBE Sonic Maximizer processing

Controls: Lo Contour and Process

Lo Contour: Low-frequency enhancement, up to +12dB at 50Hz

Process: High-frequency enhancement, up to +12dB at 10kHz

Bypass: True hard-wire bypass

Connections: 1/4-inch input and output

Power: 9V battery or compatible 9V DC power supply

Format: Floor effects pedal

Who Is It For?

Guitarists and bassists looking to improve clarity, presence and low-end definition without completely changing their existing rig.
