MATON EA80C Australian Acoustic
Crafted from premium Australian tonewoods, the Maton EA80C is a showcase of the country's finest guitar making tradition. Built entirely from native timbers and assembled by Maton's expert luthiers in Melbourne, this instrument delivers a powerful, articulate tone with a natural aesthetic that reflects its heritage.
The solid AA-grade Sitka spruce top is paired with AA-grade Blackwood back and sides, offering a rich, warm midrange with clear highs and a deep, responsive low end. The back features a radiused contour to enhance bass resonance and projection.
Maton’s scalloped bracing pattern ensures improved dynamic response and tonal balance, making the EA80C equally suited for fingerstyle playing, strumming, and stage performance.
The neck is now carved from solid Blackwood for added tonal integrity and stability. It’s matched with a Desert Acacia (Mulga) fingerboard and bridge, adding a beautifully unique native character to the instrument, both visually and tonally.
A tortoiseshell pickguard, gold Grover machine heads, herringbone purfling, and Maton's new UV-cured gloss finish give this model a refined and resonant feel, with just the right touch of elegance.
Equipped with the Maton AP5 Pro pickup system, this guitar is fully stage-ready and delivers a clean, natural amplified tone with excellent control and reliability.
