Note Cruncher Clarinet Book 1 – Book/CD

Note Cruncher Clarinet Book 1 makes technical practice feel more like playing music. Written by Mark Walton, it combines short jazzy studies, duets and clearly presented scales in a practical book and CD package.

Scales with a Musical Purpose

The studies give students a way to put fingerwork and note reading into context. Short pieces make it easier to focus on a particular skill while still working towards a musical result.

Play Together and Listen

Duets offer opportunities to practise with a teacher or another player, encouraging careful listening and steady timing. The included CD provides another resource for practice between lessons.
