PRELOVED BOSS JHS Angry Driver JB-2

The BOSS JB-2 Angry Driver is a collaboration between BOSS and JHS Pedals that combines two very different drive circuits in one compact pedal: the classic BOSS BD-2 Blues Driver and the higher-gain JHS Angry Charlie.
The real strength of the JB-2 is flexibility. You can use either circuit on its own, stack them in either order, or run them in parallel for a more complex blend. That makes it much more than a simple dual overdrive pedal.
BD-2 Blues Driver + JHS Angry Charlie
The BOSS side delivers the open, dynamic breakup and touch sensitivity the BD-2 is known for, while the JHS side brings a tighter, more aggressive British-style drive with significantly more gain.
Six Operating Modes
The Mode control gives you access to six different configurations: BOSS only, JHS only, JHS into BOSS, BOSS into JHS, parallel operation, and remote-select mode when using an external footswitch.
Independent Drive, Tone & Level Controls
Each circuit has its own Drive, Tone and Level controls using concentric knobs, so the two voices can be dialled in independently before deciding how they interact.

Who Is It For?
This is ideal for players who want one compact pedal to cover low-to-medium gain blues and rock tones through to more aggressive British-style overdrive and distortion. It is especially useful for players who like stacking drives but do not want multiple pedals taking up board space.
Our Take
The JB-2 is one of the better collaboration pedals because the two circuits actually complement each other. The BD-2 side stays open and responsive, the Angry Charlie side adds muscle and gain, and the routing options make the pedal far more versatile than either circuit alone.
