Legendary Design, Premium Craftsmanship
Handcrafted in the Czech Republic by New Bohemia Electric Corp., this guitar is built using quarter-sawn mahogany with a book-matched mahogany cap and vintage-style Antique Cherry finish. Every detail—from the distinctive body shape and broad neck profile to the unique tremolo system—is true to Brian May’s original vision.
Instead of bolt-on construction, the Super features a glued-in neck joint for improved resonance and sustain. A smooth 24-fret ebony fingerboard delivers modern comfort without sacrificing vintage vibe.
Custom Pickups and Vintage-Correct Electronics
The UK-made BMG Super pickups are hand-wound to replicate the iconic Adeson Tri-Sonic pickups from the original Red Special. With ceramic magnets and wax dipping, they deliver unmatched bite, growl, and clarity.
The control layout follows the original: a unique switching system on an aluminium plate, with upgraded shielding and a reinforced output jack to reduce interference and enhance durability.
Enhanced Roller Bridge + Knife-Edge Tremolo
The Super includes a Ron Smith & Woody Thomas enhanced roller bridge, delivering smooth string movement, tuning stability, and sustain. Combined with the accurately curved knife-edge tremolo arm and Graph Tech Black TUSQ-XL nut, the trem system offers ultra-precise pitch return and expressive feel.
