Description
PRELOVED DIGITECH Crossroads Eric Clapton Pedal
Preloved condition.
The DigiTech Crossroads Eric Clapton Artist Series pedal was created with Eric Clapton and his longtime guitar tech Lee Dickson to recreate seven signature tones from across Clapton's career. Rather than being a single overdrive or distortion, it uses DigiTech's Production Modeling technology to combine amp, cabinet, effects and recording-style processing into complete preset voices.
It is a very specific and collectible pedal, covering everything from Cream-era drive sounds through to the acoustic character of the Unplugged version of “Layla.”
Seven Clapton Signature Models
The rotary Model control selects tones based on “Sunshine of Your Love,” “Crossroads,” “Badge,” “Layla,” “Lay Down Sally,” “Layla” Unplugged and “Reptile.”
Model-Specific Controls
Level is the master output control, while Control 1 and Control 2 change function depending on the selected model. Depending on the preset they can adjust gain, tone, rotary speed, body resonance or reverb.
Amp & Mixer Outputs
The pedal includes separate Amp and Mixer outputs, with the Mixer output designed for direct connection to a full-range system or recording device.

Our Take
The Crossroads is one of those pedals that could only have come from the mid-2000s artist-model era, and that is part of the appeal. It is unusual, very specific and genuinely fun if you know the records it is referencing.
