Preloved 2008 Fender American Standard Stratocaster
A genuine USA-made Fender American Standard Stratocaster, finished in classic Black with a rosewood fingerboard and upgraded with a seriously punchy pickup combination. This 2008 example has been played and enjoyed, showing some player marks consistent with its age, but remains in good overall condition and comes supplied with its Fender hard case.
The American Standard Stratocaster earned its reputation as a dependable professional workhorse, combining the unmistakable feel and versatility of a Strat with the quality and refinement of Fender's USA production.
This particular Strat has been modified with a trio of single-coil-sized humbuckers, giving it considerably more output and muscle than a traditional SSS Strat. There's a Seymour Duncan Cool Rails in the neck, a DiMarzio Chopper in the middle, and a Seymour Duncan Hot Rails in the bridge.
It's a great combination for players who want classic Strat ergonomics without being tied to traditional Strat tones. The Cool Rails offers a smooth and full neck sound, the Chopper brings punch and definition to the middle position, while the Hot Rails delivers plenty of output, sustain and aggression when you pile on the gain. The result is a particularly capable Strat for rock, hard rock and heavier styles.
