Just traded! Australian-made electric guitar with attitude, tone and plenty of character.
Built in Maton's Melbourne workshop in 2007, this MS502 is a fantastic example of Australian guitar craftsmanship. Finished in eye-catching gloss Red, the MS502 combines classic single-cut styling with Maton's own distinctive voice, delivering punchy rock tones, rich sustain and excellent playability.
Constructed from solid Queensland Maple with a set neck design, the MS502 offers a strong, resonant foundation with plenty of midrange presence. The factory Maton humbuckers provide everything from warm blues and classic rock tones through to heavier overdriven sounds, making this a versatile workhorse for stage, studio or home use.
This guitar remains 100% factory original with no modifications. It presents in good overall condition for its age, showing the sort of cosmetic wear you'd expect from a guitar that's been played and enjoyed. There are minor dings, marks and light scratches around the body, but no structural issues, breaks or repairs. All electronics and hardware function correctly and the guitar has been inspected and play-tested in store.
