Mesa/Boogie Mark III 1x12 Combo Amplifier (Preloved)
A classic vintage Mesa/Boogie Mark III combo in excellent condition, recently serviced by well-known Melbourne amp technician Dale Sherlock of Sherlock Amplification.
This is an early non-Simul-Class 60 watt version fitted with the original Mesa/Boogie Black Shadow 12" speaker and finished in black tolex. It’s the sought-after non-graphic EQ model, offering the direct, raw and highly responsive character these early Mark III amps are known for.
The Mark III series became famous for its rich cleans, articulate gain structure and sustaining lead tones, bridging the gap between the earlier Mark IIC-era amplifiers and the more aggressive later Mesa designs. From fusion and blues through to classic hard rock and early progressive metal tones, these amps remain highly regarded for their versatility and unmistakable feel.
