The Orange Amp Detonator is an active ABY switcher designed for players running two amplifiers. It lets you select amp A, amp B, or both together while dealing with the usual dual-amp problems like hum, ground loops and phase cancellation.
With a high-quality buffered signal path, transformer-isolated B output and phase correction, it is a practical solution for stereo rigs, wet/dry setups or simply switching between two different amps on stage.
Isolated Dual-Amp Switching
Output B is transformer isolated to help eliminate ground-loop hum, while the phase switch lets you correct polarity issues when two amps are cancelling each other.
Buffered Signal Path
