This preloved Ovation Custom Balladeer 12-String is a seriously cool piece from Ovation’s golden era of acoustic-electric design. Built in the late 1980s to early 1990s and featuring the iconic deep bowl Lyrachord body, this guitar delivers the huge shimmering chorus effect and stage-ready performance that made Ovation 12-strings favourites among touring musicians for decades.
Finished in a striking Blonde Sparkle stage finish, this Balladeer has serious visual presence under lights while still retaining the unmistakable Ovation character players love. This guitar is in good preloved condition overall for its age. There is a surface paint/checking line on the face which does not go through the wood and is purely cosmetic. Aside from this, the guitar presents extremely cleanly with no major dings and only light signs of honest playing wear.
Structurally the guitar is excellent, the electronics are fully functional and it is ready to play immediately.
