The Strymon Sunset is a dual overdrive built for players who want multiple classic drive flavours in one pedal without sacrificing flexibility. It gives you six different drive circuits across two independent channels, with the ability to run them separately, stack them in either order, or blend them in parallel.
That makes Sunset much more than a simple two-channel overdrive. You can cover everything from clean boost and mid-forward blues drive through to harder clipping and near-fuzz gain, then save favourite settings or integrate it into a more advanced MIDI-controlled board.
Six Drive Circuits
Channel A offers Ge, Texas and Treble modes, while Channel B gives you 2 Stage, Hard and JFET. Each circuit is custom voiced and responds differently under the fingers, giving Sunset a very broad gain range from transparent boost through to saturated distortion.
Flexible Stacking
The rear-panel Config switch lets you run the two sides in series, reverse series or parallel. This is one of Sunset's biggest strengths, because it lets you build layered gain sounds without constantly rearranging the pedal order on your board.
Analog Feel with Powerful Digital Control
Sunset uses an analog Class A JFET input stage with high-performance DSP for the drive algorithms. Strymon designed the front end to preserve dynamics and headroom while still giving you the consistency and flexibility of digitally controlled circuit models.
Expression, Favorite & MIDI
The expression input can morph multiple parameters at once or operate as a volume control. You can also connect an external switch to recall a favourite setting, while MIDI access through the EXP jack gives you remote control and access to up to 300 preset locations.

Sunset is one of Strymon's most practical drive pedals because it combines six genuinely different gain voices with routing options that would normally require multiple pedals and a lot more cabling.
