Description
PRELOVED Yamaha G-50A Classical Guitar – c.1970
The Yamaha G-50A is a vintage Japanese-made nylon-string classical guitar from Yamaha’s late 1960s / early 1970s classical range. Produced around 1969–1972, the G-50A was designed as an affordable but well-made student classical guitar, offering reliable Yamaha build quality and a warm, traditional nylon-string voice.
This example is from around 1970 and has had one owner, giving it a great vintage story and plenty of character. A lovely option for players after an older Japanese classical guitar with genuine age, patina and a comfortable, broken-in feel.

Why Players Like These Old Yamahas
Vintage Yamaha classical guitars have a reputation for being honest, reliable instruments with plenty of charm. The G-50A was built as an entry-level model, but like many older Japanese Yamahas, it has aged nicely and offers a warm, open tone that suits beginner classical pieces, fingerstyle, folk and casual nylon-string playing.
