Description
Takamine CP7MO-TT Thermal Top Acoustic-Electric Guitar — Natural Gloss
Meet the Takamine CP7MO-TT, an Orchestra Model crafted in Japan that blends vintage voice with modern reliability. Takamine’s Thermal Top process “bakes” the solid spruce soundboard in a controlled high-heat, low-oxygen environment, accelerating the wood’s aging to deliver the open, seasoned tone of a well-played classic—right out of the case.
The OM (Orchestral) body is beloved for its balance, strong lower-mids and wide dynamic range, making this a superb choice for fingerstyle, flatpicking and nuanced strumming. Premium woods, elegant abalone appointments and Takamine’s stage-ready TLD-2 Line Driver preamp complete a pro-level package. Comes with the Takamine SH200A hardcase.

FAQs
Is the CP7MO-TT good for fingerstyle?
Yes—the OM body and 45 mm nut width offer comfortable string spacing and note clarity.
Can I plug straight into a PA?
Absolutely. The TLD-2 Line Driver delivers a natural, low-noise signal ideal for PA or audio interfaces.
Does it really sound “broken-in”?
The Thermal Top gives an immediately open, vintage-leaning tone, with further sweetening as the guitar continues to be played.
