ART CleanBox Pro – Balanced / Unbalanced Level Converter
The ART CleanBox Pro is a handy two-channel level converter designed to make it easy to connect consumer audio equipment with professional audio gear.
Whether you need to connect a laptop, media player or other unbalanced source to a mixer, powered speakers or PA system — or take a professional balanced output into consumer audio equipment — the CleanBox Pro provides the correct connections and level conversion in one compact box.
The CleanBox Pro works in both directions, converting two channels of unbalanced audio to balanced professional line level, while also providing two channels of balanced-to-unbalanced conversion.
Balanced connections are provided via XLR, while unbalanced equipment can be connected using stereo RCA or 1/8" (3.5mm) connections. Independent level controls for the balanced and unbalanced outputs make it easy to match levels between different pieces of equipment.
It's a particularly useful problem-solver for home and professional studios, PA systems, DJs, AV installations, podcasting, broadcasting and powered monitor setups.
