FENDER Tim Shaw Hot 50's Telecaster Pickup Set
Give your Tele a hotter take on classic ’50s tone. Designed by acclaimed pickup guru Tim Shaw, the Fender Tim Shaw Hot 50’s Telecaster Pickup Set is slightly overwound for a fatter, “girthy” voice that still stays true to vintage Tele character. Each pickup is crafted and calibrated for its specific position, so whether you’re on the bridge, neck, or in the middle position, you get balanced output and musical response that works beautifully with modern pedalboards.
The bridge pickup uses a traditional copper base plate with flush-mount Alnico 5 magnets and Formvar wire for punch, snap and focused attack. The neck pickup keeps the Alnico 5 magnets but switches to plain enamel wire for a smooth, articulate top end that never gets harsh. Cloth-wrapped leads and fibre construction keep things authentically Fender, while the hotter wind gives you extra push for edge-of-breakup amps and drive pedals.
