The Epiphone Les Paul Classic in Honey Burst takes the familiar late-’50s Les Paul look and adds a much more flexible electronics package than you’d normally expect from a traditional two-humbucker Les Paul.
Built with a mahogany body, plain maple cap, glued-in mahogany neck and a 24.75-inch scale, it has the core construction players expect from a Les Paul. Where the Classic really opens things up is with its pair of Alnico Classic PRO humbuckers, CTS electronics, coil-splitting and phase switching.
The Honey Burst finish gives it a warm, vintage-inspired look without being overly flashy, while the open-coil zebra pickups, cream binding and gold control knobs give the guitar plenty of classic Les Paul character.
