This preloved Fender Player II Modified Stratocaster is finished in Dusk, which has to be one of our favourite Fender colours. It looks fantastic in person and gives the Strat a distinctive look without straying too far from the classic Fender aesthetic.
This example is in excellent condition with no noticeable marks and has clearly seen very little use. It even still has the original protective sticker on the scratchplate. A gig bag is also included.
The Player II Modified series takes the familiar Player II platform and adds some genuinely useful upgrades aimed at players who want a little more performance and versatility from a modern Strat.
The Modified Strat features Player II Noiseless pickups, delivering classic Strat-style clarity and sparkle while keeping unwanted hum under control. Fender also adds some clever switching options, including a push/pull tone control that activates the neck pickup in positions 1 and 2, opening up additional pickup combinations not normally available from a traditional Strat five-way switch.
The Modern "C" neck profile, rolled fingerboard edges and satin urethane finish on the back of the neck make it immediately comfortable, while the 2-point tremolo with block steel saddles and locking tuners give it a modern, reliable feel.

Why We Like This One
Apart from Dusk being one of our favourite colours, this is a great example of what Fender has done with the Modified series. It still looks, feels and sounds unmistakably like a Strat, but the noiseless pickups, extra switching, locking tuners and upgraded tremolo make it a particularly practical modern version.
And with this one presenting in such excellent condition, it's a great opportunity to pick up a Player II Modified Strat without paying new-guitar money.
