PRELOVED FENDER USA Acoustasonic Junior 2 x 40W Acoustic Amp

Preloved condition – visible cosmetic wear, including surface marks on the front model badge. Please see the photos for this amp's presentation.

The Fender Acoustasonic Junior puts your acoustic guitar and vocal microphone into one practical combo. This USA-made original combines straightforward controls with onboard effects, making it an appealing option for acoustic players who want to plug in, shape their sound and get on with playing.

Its brown cabinet, woven grille and Fender styling give it plenty of character. For a singer-guitarist, the attraction is just as practical: separate instrument and mic/line channels let you balance both parts of your performance from the front panel.

Acoustic Guitar and Vocals Together

With 80W RMS total output, delivered as 2 x 40W, two 8-inch Fender Special Design speakers and a piezo horn, the Acoustasonic Junior is designed for acoustic instruments and vocals. The instrument channel has Bass, Mid and Treble controls, while the mic/line channel provides its own volume, Bass and Treble adjustments.

Spring Reverb and Analog Chorus

The original Junior's spring reverb and analog chorus are a big part of its appeal. Add some space to a dry pickup sound or dial in movement with the chorus Rate and Depth controls. Everything is adjusted directly from the panel, so changes are easy to make between songs.

Useful Control Over Your Pickup Sound

The Feedback Notch control helps target a troublesome frequency. Fender's String Dynamics control reduces high-frequency harshness as you dig in, while mic/line and master phase switches provide further options for managing feedback and phase relationships.

Our Take

We like the Junior's focus on the things an acoustic player reaches for: a usable balance between guitar and vocals, control over pickup harshness and a little ambience. Add its USA-made construction and distinctive looks, and this is a characterful option to consider when shopping for a used acoustic amp.
