Description
PRELOVED LTD X-Tone PS-1 Semi-Hollow
Preloved condition.
The LTD X-Tone PS-1 is a distinctive semi-hollow electric that sits comfortably between traditional hollowbody style and modern LTD playability. With its offset single-cut shape, dual humbuckers and shorter 24.75-inch scale, it has a familiar feel but a character all its own.
The PS-1 has been produced in several versions over the years, so some construction details and pickup specifications changed between production runs. This listing keeps the focus on the core features shared across the model rather than mixing specs from different eras.
Semi-Hollow Character
The semi-hollow construction gives the PS-1 a little more air and resonance than a conventional solidbody while still keeping the tighter response needed for overdrive and higher-volume playing. It works well for indie, alternative, blues, rock and more ambient styles.
24.75-Inch Scale
The shorter 24.75-inch scale length gives the guitar a slightly softer string feel and makes bends and vibrato feel easy under the fingers. It is a comfortable fit for players coming from single-cut or semi-hollow designs with a similar scale.
Dual Humbuckers
The PS-1 uses a traditional HH pickup configuration with separate volume and tone controls plus a 3-way selector. Depending on production year, the exact LTD/ESP pickup set varies, but the overall design is aimed at giving you everything from rounded neck tones through to stronger bridge-drive sounds.
Classic Tune-O-Matic Hardware
A Tune-O-Matic-style bridge and stop tailpiece provide a solid, familiar setup for intonation, sustain and straightforward string changes. Chrome hardware and body binding give the PS-1 a more classic look than many LTD models.

Who Is It For?
This is a great option for players who want the feel and resonance of a semi-hollow but prefer something a little more modern and less traditional-looking. It is especially suited to indie, alternative, rock, blues and players who want a versatile second guitar with a different flavour.
Our Take
The PS-1 is one of the more interesting guitars in LTD's catalogue because it steps away from the brand's heavier styling without losing the comfortable neck feel and practical hardware players expect. It is a genuinely versatile semi-hollow with plenty of personality.
