The PRS DGT 15 is David Grissom's compact 15-watt signature valve amplifier, designed to deliver the touch sensitivity, dynamics and character of a great vintage amp while offering considerably more control than you'd normally expect from a single-channel design.
Developed by PRS amplifier designer Doug Sewell in collaboration with David Grissom, the DGT 15 takes inspiration from the larger DG Custom 30 and brings that concept into a more manageable 15-watt format.
At its heart is a highly responsive single-channel valve circuit capable of moving from articulate cleans and edge-of-breakup tones through to rich, harmonically complex overdrive. The footswitchable Boost adds another level of gain when required, making the DGT 15 surprisingly versatile without losing the simple feel of a traditional valve amp.
There's plenty of control over the basic character of the amp. Alongside the familiar Treble, Middle and Bass EQ you'll find Presence and Top Cut controls, plus a three-position Bright switch. Together they allow you to fine-tune the high-end response and overall feel to suit different guitars, cabinets and playing styles.
The DGT 15 also features built-in three-spring reverb and bias-modulated tremolo, with dedicated Reverb, Speed and Depth controls.
This example includes the original PRS 3-button footswitch, allowing remote control of the Boost, Reverb and Tremolo functions.
The power section uses a pair of EL84 valves together with a GZ34 valve rectifier, helping give the DGT 15 its responsive and dynamic vintage-inspired character.
This particular amplifier is in excellent preloved condition and is dated May 2024.
