A genuine piece of early Japanese effects history, the Roland Bee Baa AF-100 is one of the most distinctive and collectible fuzz pedals from Roland’s pre-BOSS era.
Produced during the 1970s, the Bee Baa combines a huge, aggressive fuzz circuit with a separate treble booster, all housed in its unmistakable oversized enclosure with three footswitches. It’s strange, raw and unapologetically vintage, delivering the kind of character that has made original examples increasingly sought after by players and collectors.
The Sound
The Bee Baa isn’t a polite vintage fuzz. Its fuzz circuit delivers thick saturation, gritty attack and a distinctive scooped character that works brilliantly for heavy riffs, garage rock, psychedelic sounds and cutting lead tones.
Alongside the fuzz is a dedicated Treble Booster, giving you another flavour entirely. Use it to add bite and presence, push an already-working amp harder, or create sharp, cutting lead sounds.
The combination makes the AF-100 much more than a vintage curiosity. It’s a genuinely unusual and inspiring effect that still sounds wild decades after it was made.
Condition

The original serial number sticker is no longer present. The pedal has been tested and is fully functional.
