The Squier Classic Vibe '70s Stratocaster HSS takes the look and feel of a late-'70s Strat and adds a more versatile HSS pickup layout. You still get the big '70s-style headstock, maple fingerboard and vintage-inspired hardware, but the bridge humbucker gives this model more punch for rock and higher-gain sounds.
Finished in Black with a matching black pickguard and maple fingerboard, this version has a clean, classic look and a really useful pickup configuration for players who want one guitar to cover both traditional Strat tones and thicker bridge sounds.
Fender-Designed HSS Pickups
The pickup set combines two Fender-Designed Alnico single-coils in the neck and middle positions with a Fender-Designed Alnico humbucker at the bridge. That gives you familiar Strat sparkle and clarity up front, plus extra output and body when you switch to the bridge pickup.
Classic '70s Styling
The oversized headstock, black plastics, nickel hardware and vintage-tinted neck finish give the guitar a strong 1970s-inspired identity. It looks noticeably different from a standard modern Strat without becoming difficult or unfamiliar to play.
Comfortable C-Shaped Maple Neck
The maple neck uses a slim C-shaped profile with a 9.5" fingerboard radius and 21 narrow-tall frets. It is a comfortable setup for chords, bends and lead playing, with a feel that is more forgiving than a fully vintage-spec neck.

Who Is It For?
This is a great fit for players who like classic Strat ergonomics and looks but want more output and thickness from the bridge position. It works well for blues, indie, rock, pop and heavier styles where a traditional SSS Strat can feel a little thin.

The HSS layout makes this one of the more versatile Classic Vibe Strat models. You still get plenty of traditional single-coil character, but the bridge humbucker makes it easier to cover bigger rock tones without changing guitars.
