Description
PRELOVED STRYMON BigSky Reverb
Preloved condition.
The Strymon BigSky is one of the benchmark multi-reverb pedals, built for players who want everything from convincing traditional room, plate and spring sounds through to huge ambient textures, shimmer, cloud-style washes and experimental spaces. With 12 dedicated reverb machines, deep editing, 300 presets and full MIDI control, it is designed as a complete reverb workstation rather than a simple stompbox.
This is the original BigSky generation, not the newer BigSky MX. It remains a seriously capable studio and pedalboard tool thanks to its high-quality converters, analog dry path, stereo operation and extensive preset control.
12 Reverb Machines
The original BigSky gives you 12 reverb algorithms, each with its own character and deeper parameter set. That covers traditional ambience as well as much more expansive and creative reverb sounds, making it suitable for everything from subtle always-on space to fully atmospheric sound design.
300 Presets & Full MIDI Control
With 300 preset locations, the BigSky is built for players who need repeatable sounds for live sets, sessions or complex rigs. Presets can be selected from the front panel, footswitches or via MIDI, and the pedal supports deep MIDI control for integration into larger switching systems.
Analog Dry Path & 24-bit/96kHz Conversion
The dry signal remains analog for zero-latency pass-through, while the reverb processing uses high-performance 24-bit / 96kHz conversion. This gives the pedal plenty of clarity and headroom without making the unaffected guitar signal feel disconnected.
Stereo, Expression & Trails
Stereo inputs and outputs make the BigSky a natural fit for dual-amp or studio rigs. The expression input can control multiple parameters, and reverb trails can be enabled per preset so the effect decays naturally when bypassed.
Direct Recording Friendly
A selectable Cab Filter allows the pedal to be used more comfortably with PA systems and direct-recording setups, while each preset can also store a small analog boost or cut to help balance output levels.

Who Is It For?
This is ideal for ambient, post-rock, shoegaze, worship, studio and session players who want one reverb pedal to cover a huge range of sounds. It is also a strong fit for MIDI-controlled rigs where preset recall and repeatability matter.
Our Take
The original BigSky earned its reputation because it sounds polished without being sterile, and because its preset and control options make it genuinely practical on a serious pedalboard. Even with newer models available, it is still an excellent choice if you want flagship-level reverb without moving to the latest generation.
