The Voodoo Lab Pedal Power 2 Plus is one of the classic isolated pedalboard power supplies, built for players who need clean, reliable power across a mix of vintage analog pedals and more demanding digital effects.
With eight fully isolated outputs, switchable 9V/12V operation on multiple outputs, two higher-current 250mA outputs and two variable-voltage SAG outputs, the Pedal Power 2 Plus remains a very practical option for small to medium pedalboards.
Eight Fully Isolated Outputs
Each output is galvanically isolated, helping to reduce hum and ground-loop noise between pedals. That makes the Pedal Power 2 Plus especially useful on boards where multiple pedals would otherwise interact through a shared supply.
9V, 12V & Higher-Current Outputs
Four outputs provide 9V at 100mA and can be switched for 12V operation. Two additional outputs provide 9V at 250mA, making them better suited to more power-hungry effects. The remaining two outputs provide standard 9V power with variable SAG control.
SAG for Vintage-Style Pedal Response
Outputs 7 and 8 feature Voodoo Lab’s SAG control, letting you lower the voltage from roughly 9V down to around 4V. This can be useful with certain fuzz, distortion and transistor-based pedals where a deliberately “dying battery” feel is part of the sound.
Flexible Voltage Options
With the appropriate doubler cables, the isolated outputs can also be combined for 18V or 24V operation, giving the unit extra flexibility for pedals that need higher supply voltages.
Low-Noise Linear Power
The Pedal Power 2 Plus uses a custom toroidal transformer and linear regulation rather than a basic switching supply. The aim is stable, low-noise power for sensitive analog pedals as well as digital effects.

Who Is It For?

Our Take
The Pedal Power 2 Plus became a pedalboard standard because it is dependable, quiet and flexible. Newer power supplies can offer more current in a smaller footprint, but for a traditional mixed pedalboard this is still a proven and very usable piece of gear.
