Description
TANGLEWOOD Blackbird Super Folk Cutaway Acoustic Electric - Smokestack Black Satin
The Tanglewood Blackbird Super Folk Cutaway is a warm, comfortable acoustic-electric built around an all-mahogany body and Tanglewood's compact Super Folk shape. It has a focused, woody voice that suits strumming, fingerstyle and singer-songwriter playing, while the cutaway and onboard electronics make it equally practical for live use.
The Smokestack Black Satin finish gives it a distinctive understated look, while the 650mm scale and 43mm nut keep the playing feel familiar and easy to move around.
Warm All-Mahogany Tone
Mahogany is used for the top, back, sides and neck, giving the Blackbird a strong midrange, smooth top end and controlled low end. It is a naturally balanced tone that works particularly well behind vocals and in recording situations.
Comfortable Super Folk Cutaway
The Super Folk body keeps things more compact than a full dreadnought while still delivering useful projection and depth. The cutaway improves access to the upper frets, making it a versatile choice for both accompaniment and lead work.
TW Premium Plus Electronics
The onboard TW Premium Plus electronics make it simple to plug into an acoustic amp, PA or recording interface. It is a practical setup for players who need the same guitar for home, rehearsal and stage use.
Smokestack Black Satin Finish
The satin finish gives the guitar a smooth, natural feel and keeps the blacked-out aesthetic classy rather than flashy. Beige binding, a wood rosette and chrome hardware add a subtle contrast.
